Good evening, beautiful souls .

Wherever you are right now — maybe you're sitting in a dimly lit café in Munich, nursing a latte while watching the last trams glide through the rain. Maybe you're on a Parisian balcony, 27 floors up, watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle through the haze, but your apartment feels quieter than it should. Or perhaps you're in Shanghai, scrolling through your phone at 2 AM, the neon skyline flickering outside your window, and you realize — you've got 1,287 followers, but no one to call.

Welcome to The Bond. In the language of the heart, we call it Rengkuh — an Indonesian word that means to embrace, to pull close, to hold warmly in your arms.

We built this space for you — global souls between 17 and 50 — who are craving something  that's becoming rarer than gold in this digital age: real, unfiltered, human warmth.

🌍 The Paradox:  More Connected, More Alone

Let's be real.

We've never been more technologically connected than right now. And yet — we've never felt more alone.

Back in 2023, the U.S. Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy, dropped a 71-page warning calling loneliness a public health epidemic. Not a feeling. An epidemic.

The World Health Organization backed this up — their Commission on Social Connection reported that 1 in 6 people globally experience recurring loneliness. And here's the kicker: over 871,000 deaths per year are linked to social isolation. That's more than 100 deaths every single hour.

Let that sink in for a second.

In the U.S., studies from 2021 found that the number of people with zero close friends has quadrupled since 1990. Quadrupled. In India, a YouGov 2024 survey showed the same worrying trend.

Even here in Europe — in vibrant cities like Munich, Berlin, or Paris — loneliness doesn't discriminate. You can be surrounded by millions of people in a U-Bahn carriage and still feel like a ghost.

And in Shanghai, where the night never sleeps, the silence inside a high-rise apartment can be deafening.
